"Deutsch International" focuses on situations and topics relevant to young adolescents and is based around a group of children and events in their lives which all teenagers can easily relate to. Each unit consists of three double pages of themed reading and listening texts, exercises and project work presented in cartoon-style stories with a final double page revision section. Communication exercises and grammar and vocabulary units are contained in the accompanying workbook with plenty of role plays to encourage active use of the language. The grammar units allow pupils to discover, learn and revise the rules by themselves.
