"Alltag, Beruf & Co" is a course for anuone who needs German language skills for everyday life and for communicating at work. The course provides approximately 50 classroom hours per level, and is suitable for general language courses with a work-related focus as well as in-compnay courses. The course introduces general language tools whih are needed in day-to-day situations as well as work-related situations. Therefore it is suitable for participants of all professional backgrounds.

The coursebook contains 10 lessons with 10 pages each plus a CD with pronunciation exercises and interactive activities.

Each lesson consists of a double page entitled "Im Alltag" on the individual topic in a general-language context; a double page entitled "Im Beruf" on the individual topic in a professional context; a magazine page with an entertaining collage covering the lesson topic; a one-page overview entitled "Grammatik und Redemittel" on grammar and common expressions; and finally four workbook pages with exercises on vocabulary, common expressions, grammar and pronunciation.

The included CD contains pronunciation exercises for the workbook section as well as additional interactive exercises for the coursework section which students can use for independent study. The teacher's book contains lesson plans and transripts for the audio texts.

Each voume comes with a vocabulary book organised in table format with the word, a space for its translation, a sample sentence using the word, as well as a vocabulary exercise.
