This new and colourful course for false beginners contains stimulating material on Germany's economy, professional life and culture and aims to develop the necessary linguistic and communication skills required when working in a German-speaking business environment.

The 10 chapters in the textbook cover many aspects of everyday professional life and many professions and areas of business.

The textbook contains ten chapters that can be used in a very flexible way. Each chapter is sub-divided into five sections providing a methodical structure to learning with two journal pages providing additional reading material rounding and listing futher tasks rounding off ech chapter. A set of data sheets for pairwork is included at the end of the book.

The workbook exercises supplement the material in the coursebook, incorporating the dialogues introduced in the textbook and focusing on grammar. Each chapter ends with a vocabulary list and comprehension exercises as well as helpful tips on learning.
