"Zimmer frei Neu" provides students with little or no previous knowledge of the language with the communication skills to welcome and cater for the needs of their German guests. Concentrating exclusively on everyday situations within the realm of the hotel, with the focus of the course on aural and oral skills (particular attention is paid to pronunciation), students begin to actively use the basic structures of the language from the start. Grammar and writing skills are limited to the relevant themes. Both the "Lehr-" and "Arbeitsbuch" are clearly laid-out with illustrations throughout and offer a lively method of learning.
