This package of listening material for beginners follows two editors from the radio station "Radio D" as they investigate mysterious happenings around Germany and presents learners with a new perspective on Germany and its citizens, teaching German in a relaxed way. The listening comprehension training is backed up in each chapter by an overview of what students should be listening out for, the aims of the exercises regarding vocabulary, grammar and use of language structures and a brief summeary of the grammar points covered in the chapter. The coursebook also includes full transcripts of all the listening texts, a glossary and 2 CDs containing all the listening texts from the course. An English booklet is included which gives brief summaries of the listening texts, learning tips and the listening comprehension questions in English to assist students with the tasks.
