"Exploring German" is not a language course, but an introduction to Germany and the Germans, with a substantial language component. Pupils learn a wide range of practical vocabulary and expressions (there is no formal grammar), interlaced with much interesting information about the daily lives and culture of the German people. All this is done in a very simple, colourful and attractive style, which is by no means too childish for younger teenagers.

The Activity book contains hundreds of simple - mainly language - exercises to supplement the text and tasks in the course book.

The Teacher's kit contains a Teacher's guide, 3 cassettes, plus copies of the Course- and Activity books, and provides an excellent source of further material.
