Each story in this series of readers specially written for very young learners, is related in simple sentences using the present tense so that children will use the vocabulary and structures actively after hearing the story and looking at the accompanying illustrations. A few titles in the series are written in the form of very simple plays, ideal for acting out, or reading together in small groups. These are shown below as "Theaterspiel".
